Cliff was a man who loved his family. That was evident whenever I saw him. The love for family shown in his eyes when he talked about one of them. He was always patient and soft spoken with Wanda. He took good care of her. My thoughts and prayers are with the family.

Watching the tribute of your Dad's life sure showed how much he loved and enjoyed his family. Thank you for sharing and the wonderful memories you have to cherish. Much love to your family always.

Clifford was man of strong faithfulness. From the time I was a child I watched him serve the Lord in a variety of ways at Maranatha Baptist Church. He was a member of the first choir that I started in 1984. You could always count on him to be in his place ready to go. You could also count on him to be supportive and helpful.

Cliff was a good guy. Especially when it came to family and friends. He was a good role model for me, Ryan, and Will. We always had a blast hanging out with him. He will be missed by all.

Larry & Renee, Your Dad was an awesome kind of Christian man. He always had a smile and was helpful and always took such good care of your Mother. This world needs more Christian examples like he was. Praise the Lord we will meet him in heaven and if Mrs. Johnson is making pies or hot rolls he will be at the top of her list. Your Mom was truly blessed and she loved you. One time we were there and she sat down in the grass and was showing our Amanda how to whistle with the grass. Our deepest sympathy and love to you all. Many prayers for you in these coming days!!!! Mary & Barry

"We remember Clifford as being a quiet, gentle person. Didn't really get to know him well, but will never forget the kindness he showed to those around him. We could always count on him to tell us where the bus kids lived up on his hill."
