Playing the Piano, Cornet and Vibraharp; Arranging music for instrumentalists, small groups and choirs; Leading congregational hymns; Piano tuning; Car repairs and maintenance; Design, New construction and Renovation of existing properties - including Wood, Electrical and Plumbing; Fixing ANYTHING that was broken; Keen interest in the temperament and world of "Honeybees" as he developed a deep understanding and respect for bees from his upbringing on the farm in Troy, Ontario; Organizing and facilitating (behind the scenes) Evangelical Outreach Events throughout Europe and Canada; Working with Young People - particularly helping to prepare them for Short and Long-Term Missionary Service; Reading his Bible and studying it; Talking to his Heavenly Father; Writing letters both of encouragement and counselling; Spending time with, caring for and often "spoiling" mom and his 3 girls, 3 sons-in-law, 12 grandchildren, their spouses and more recently his 6 great grandsons. Favourite things to eat: Sardines, Chocolate, Peanuts and any kind of Ice Cream available!

Clarence Lorne Shelly was born to Lorne D. and Gladys Mary (nee Courtnage) Shelly on their farm in Troy, Ontario.
Mary Edna Shelly - Clarence's sister- was born.
On Easter Sunday night - at a Youth for Christ Rally - Clarence committed his life to Christ - accepting Him as "Lord and Savior". This was the turning point in his life!
Clarence and Barry Moore travelled to France for the summer for evangelical outreach. It was during this time that God began to speak to him about his call back to France.
Clarence attended a 6 week summer church music course in Chicago, Illinois at Moody Bible Institute.
Clarence and Pearl (nee Sparks) were married at Immanuel Baptist Church - in Brantford, Ontario.
Karen Ruth was born in St. Thomas, Ontario.
Margaret-Anne was born in Strasbourg, France.
Carma Lynn was born in Amiens, France.
Clarence and Pearl (along with their 3 daughters) arrived back in Canada to begin a new life and ministry - with Global Outreach Mission.
Clarence and Pearl officially "retired" from missionary service with Global Outreach Mission.
Pearl Shelly passed away.
Dads sister, Mary - passed away. She is survived by her husband, Ted and sons - Raymond and Gerald.
Clarence passed away into the presence of his Savior.
