This site is dedicated to Christopher Lo. It's photos, and videos will be forever used as a memory for his children.



Chris is the oldest son of Mr. & Mrs. Chong Teng Lo. He has 3 brothers(Txawj Ntse - Choua Va, Chu Pheng, Chu Feng) and 3 sisters (Maily, Pahoua, Nue).

He was a loving husband, father, son, brother, and mentor to us all. He leaves behind his loving wife (Maignia) and five beautiful children (Angel, Robert, Utah, Augustine, and Christopher Jr.) whom he loved and cherished.

He loved his people, his community, and his friends. But most of all, he loved his family. He was a loving husband and a father that his kids were proud of and looked up to.

Chris was planning to run for elected office in the Greater Sacramento Area and was very active in the community. A few of the local organizations are: Sacramento Boulevard Partnership, Sacramento Metro Chamber of Commerce, Stockton Blvd Partnership, Community Activities Board for UC Davis Medical Center, Sacramento Asian Chamber of Commerce, Asian Pacific Islander American Public Affairs Association (APAPA)and Sacramento Hmong Alliance Church. Nationally, Chris was very active with Hmong National Development (HND) and Lo/Pha Society.

He has been a passionate State Farm agent for over ten years and enjoyed every moment.

Everyone he met, he made a lasting impression. He had a big heart and was always willing to help out anyone. He was generous with his ideas and his time. He was an optimistic person who saw the best in everyone.

Chris was a devoted Christian and a living example of greatness.

He always said, "Don't be just like me. Be better than me."

His final resting place is at East Lawn Sierra Hills Cemetery, 5757 Greenback Lane, Sacramento, CA 95841.

When I heard of your passing my heart burned as I had a panic attack set in, and almost had heartattack. Last year as I visit the family in Sacramento. We visit your office and you told me, brother don't rent the car. use my car because we have family all over the State of California and it was so help full for a week while i was there in Sacramento. this coming July the 15th 2011 will be my last visit to you and no body will offer me transportation as you did. "It was a profound grief to hear about the loss of Uncle Yeng due to an unfortunate accident. I am still extremely shock and in disbelief about the incident. My heart broke into pieces earlier this week when I learned of the sudden and unexpected incident.

I am so very grateful that I saw Uncle Yeng in MN this past year and was able to spend a little bit of time with him during his visit.

He's one of them guys who was able to turn a negative situation into something positive one. He over looked peoples ways but cherish them as a human and as his own sibiings. He never judge and dependable when there is someone in need. A down to earth funny guy who was able to get along with everyone. I do not know of anyone who would have any harsh word about him.

He will truly be missed! Miss you Uncle Yeng...

"I only just met Mr. Lo and his wife on a couple of occassions recently, but it is always a sad event to lose a fellow Hmong brother. To Ms. Lo and her children: your story touches me deeply and I am extremely saddened by your loss. I can only imagine the hurt you must feel and the heavy weight on your chest as you take each breath and try to carry on.
