Christian John Fagg

August 7, 2013

This site is dedicated to Christian Fagg.
Christian Fagg was swept away by strong currents as he raced against friends in the Rhine.
The bass player should not be ‘mourned in silence’, heavy rock group Trollkraftt said.
‘Smash a tune on and crack open a beer for one of the UK’s brightest musicians,’ they added in a message on their website. ‘Peace, man. The world just got a little quieter.’
Mr Fagg’s girlfriend, Rachel Muir, said: ‘Glad I have no children and that Fagg and I had no unresolved issues, few future plans and knew how we felt about each other.
‘It could be a lot worse but he will be sorely missed.’
The death was confirmed after people on a houseboat saw Mr Fagg’s body and called firefighters, who retrieved it 6.4km (four miles) from where he had been swimming.
The 23-year-old was carried off as he strayed into deeper water during a race in the shallows on the outskirts of Cologne on Monday.
He had gone to Germany on holiday from Cleethorpes, north-east Lincolnshire, with six friends.
