Guest Book
When I was in grammar school a girl named Sabrina was the class bully and had been threatening me. I didn't tell him but Carl found out and the next day when the class bell rang I was sitting at my desk and the whole class started to whisper... I looked up and there was Carl standing at the door scoping out the classroom and pointing his finger at Sabrina. All of my classmates started to say out loud that Carl was going to get her for bothering me. She was so scared that I never had a problem with Sabrina again.... My brother always looked out for me... I love you.

Carl was a very demanding person. One day after surgery he demanded I bring him Haagan Daz ice cream and the softee I am I did. He told me the Dr.'s said he could have ice cream & cookies, so I took him both. When he finished it he asked for my purse and put his wrappings in it. He then told me to dispose of it away from the hospital grounds. So I did. On the way home I started thinking about my visit and I came to the conclusion I had been had by Carl. He was not supposed to have anything by mouth he was NPO. He told me later he just needed some comfort food. I am so glad I was able to give him that little bit of comfort. By the way the ice cream and cookies did'nt harm him at all.

Luv Him and miss hiM !!!!!!!

I REMEMBER WHEN GRANDMA WOULD SAY, ANGIE, IT IS TIME TO COME IN THE HOUSE, I WOULD CRY AND GO IN. SIT DOWN AND CARL WOULD COME IN AND ASK WHAT IS WRONG, AND HE WOULD TAKE ME OUTSIDE TO PLAY OR TO JUST SIT OUT ON THE FRONT PORCH FOR A WHILE. HE ALSO WOULD TAKE ME TO GET MY FAVORITE MEAL, A ITALIAN BEEF AND FRIES OR A PIZZA PUFFW/FRIES AND WE WOULD AND TALK.. I WILL ALWAYS REMEMBER AT MY WEDDING HE SAID TO ALWAYS TRUST GOD AND THE REST WILL BE O.K. I WILL ALWAYS DO THAT BECAUSE HE IS RIGHT. GOD IS ALWAYS THERE.....

May wisdom and peace be with you in the lost of your loved one. Just remember that when we accept rather than fight our circumstance and struggles (even though we don't understand them), we open our heart's gate to God's love, peace, joy and contentment. To Diane, I've been where you are and understand, but hang in there and keep the faith. My thoughts and prayers are with you and the family in this your time of bereavement.

The word "family" definitely has a new meaning to me now. Even though Carl and I were not related by blood, I considered Carl to be one of my closest family members. To me, a family is a group of people that you can relax with, share stories and interests with or even confide with. You can talk about the significance Jimi Hendrix had on the progression of rock n' roll. You can talk about how reggae today is nothing compared to the days of Bob Marley. Or if that doesn't suit you, you could even talk about sports and discuss which teams were doing great and which teams could use a new coaching staff. But one thing that you can definitely do with a family member was have a great laugh. And if there is one thing that Carl and I did a lot of, it was having a good laugh. And even though he is not on this earth with us anymore, I know that he is still laughing. A laugh and a dear friend that I will truly miss.

I dont have alot to say but my uncle was a great man and he was there for me when i needed him the most. And i will always remeber him and the times we had spent together. And i know he will always be looking down on me from heaven chilling with God and my late uncle Pete saying good job. And i will always remeber him and how great of and uncle he is and will always be because no one could never replace. God bless me with my uncle May he rest in piece God bless his soul . I remember before my uncle had gotten sick to the point where he would no longer leave the hospital, he and I were both really big on music. He and I would sit in my room and talk about our favorite artists ranging from BB King and Chuck Berry, to Carlos Santana and the late great Michael Jackson. We had conversations that also ranged from sports and school to the things he was going through. It was really nice to have conversations. In my heart it feels like I lost a brother for the 3rd time and it hurts. Earth has no sorrow that heaven can not heal but he will be missed. He has a gift for music, and a gift for insight to many situations. That is what I will continue to miss about him.
