This site is dedicated to my wife, Camille (Cami) Place.

My Darling Cami,

There is not a day goes by that I do not remember you and think of you fondly. You were my steadfast companion, you loved me for who I was and who I could be. You were my rudder, always keeping me on a true course. You were my best friend and confidant. You shared my dreams, my hopes, and my love. There is an enormous void in my life that no one or no thing can replace.

You were loved by many ~ a role model ~ for others to emulate.

You were truly the "Wind Beneath My Wings". I will love you forever.

May you rest in peace in the loving arms of our Lord.

You loving husband, Bob

Once upon a time there were four of us. "Sisters" joined by hearts full of love and care. Each of us with our special talents and gifts. You were the first to leave us - creating a void impossible to describe with mere words.

Four years later I still talk to you every day and I believe you continue to keep one hand on my shoulder and the other hand over my mouth making sure I know there is enough strength in me to get through every day with quiet acceptance. You left us so soon after Christopher . . . was that part of God's plan - for you to go on ahead with Christopher until such time that we will all be together again? I have to believe it is.

Thank you for being the lady you have always been. Thank you for every hug you gave, and thank you for kicking me in the tush when I needed it. You are still the best Sister I could have ever wished for.

hugs and prayers,
