He and my mother Annie Jean Johnson Hedgecock loved to tease each other. I remember when he and his wife visited us in Houston. He carried me on his shoulders through the Houston Zoo. I wet my pants. Yew!

A tree was planted November 2nd at the Boerne, Tx. Library. It is in a new area for kids with a long stone bench where kids will sit and read. Dad loved books and nature.

I miss that wise old man. I am so thankful to have been able to take care of dad. His journey to his last days and hours was quite a challenge. Dad never quit and continued to be witty and intelligent. I miss getting an answer to anything asked.
