Memorial
A lifelong resident of Washington, DC., Bob was proud of his 35+ years at Pepco. He was even prouder of his membership at The Westside Club of Georgetown. He especially enjoyed the Thursday Night Men's group. But he always said that when he died, just prop him up at the end of the bar at Billy Martin's. Bob enjoyed old movies, and would quote from them extensively ("we don't need no stinkin' badges" from Treasure of the Sierra Madre was one of his favorites). Bob loved good food, especially the rarebit at Martin's, the mussels at Et Voila on McArthur, and the crabs at Bethesda Crabhouse. Bob's humor (no one had worse puns), humility, compassion and friendship will be missed by so many.

Bob always carried this with him:

God grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change. The courage to change the things I can, and the wisdom to know the difference.

Bob,
Not quite sure what to say...I know, me having a loss for words is very rare !! I do in fact greatly appreciate the work you have done for me over the past several years. Your old time work ethics were second to none. You will be missed more than you'll ever know. I appreciate you teaching me so much. I will miss our lunch time chats/debates on our world views !! Is time ready yet ?? Until we meet again my friend, propped up at Martin's !!!
