Greetings in Christ Cindy,

I have to agree with what Steve Miller said about Bill's obituary. It really does reflect the light of Christ in Bill's and your life. I pray that the reassruance of our Lord's promise to bring us home to Him will be a comfort to you during this time of lose.
Blessings,

Hi, LuLu (I know you don't really like that name, but I just wanted to jog your memory a bit - perhaps more than a bit -- let's say a big CSP chomp!) I grieve for you but rejoice for Bill. He was my one and only Dist Ed. Rep. during my 8 years as principal in SW MN. I remember his strong faith, the twinkle in his eye, his love for a good laugh, and his willingness to be of service to God. What a wonderful legacy! It was also nice seeing you once a year or so at conferences when you were the CPH rep. May God grant you strength to endure these days and may He bless you with many wonderful and precious memories until the day our Lord brings the two of you together again. Thank you for the wonderfully-written obituary. What a great testimony to our glorious Lord! May God bless you, Cindy. You are a CSP friend- -and as always, friendships made with a common Christian foundation, last an eternity.

Love in Christ,

jim

Hi Cindy,
Both Betty-Jane and I extend our deepest sympathy at the passing of Bill. We both remember the times that we enjoyed your company following one of Bill's visits the St. Johns School in Wykoff.
It is our prayer that the Lord will place His loving arms around you and your family and carry you through this difficult time. Blessings in His name.

Hi Cindy,
I just learned about Bill and want to share my grief with you. I came to know Bill when he came into the Minnesota South District and worked with him in many different arenas over the years. I'm very sorry for you but happy for Bill that he is home with his Savior. Blessings.

Hi, Cindy.

Bill's obituary was perhaps the best written I have seen over all these years, particularly with regard to its witness to the Christian faith. Having known you and Bill, it is as I would have expected. Without appealing to sentimentalism, it honors Bill's memory and remembers his God-given gifts and Christian faith and service, and it is a great reminder to "remember Jesus Christ, risen from the dead" and an encouragement in the faith from baptism to resurrection.

I have long admired you and Bill for your thorough grounding in the faith and your quiet, solid, and faithful witness. Thank you.

God bless you, Cindy, and uphold you in coming days. There will undoubtedly be difficult days filled with grief (but not as those who have no hope) mixed with the promises of God. After all these years of marriage and sharing the faith, Bill is gone, and you are alone ... but not really alone, for Jesus has promised to be with you. But yet Bill is not at your side, and your joy in the Lord's promises is accompanied by lonliness and longing for Bill's quiet encouragement.

I pray that God gives you an added sense of His presence with you and increased awareness of that which Bill is now seeing for himself in wide-eyed amazement and joy but which is yet to come for you, the fulfillment of all God's gracious promises.

Steve
