Guest Book
Anita was the first person I met when I started work at Stanislaus State College in 1963 at the Fairgrounds in Turlock. Anita was a dear friend during those years I worked at SSC, before I moved away from Turlock.
She was also a gifted pianist.
I ran into her years later when she worked at Emanuel Hospital. I had no idea she was ill, and was truly saddened to hear she had passed away!

Mom's favorite place in the world was Carmel, California. We'd go for a short vacation every once in awhile. Being a creature of habit, she always wanted to go eat at this one place in a small shopping area. Next door to the place was a glass blower's shop. I remember being so fascinated watching him blow his art forms and making creations.

Mom just loved the whole Carmel and Monterey area. We'd walk all around, going into each of the little shops. After shopping, we'd go on the 17 mile drive and visit the coast/ocean. She was happiest being at the ocean. On one visit she really splurged and bought an oil painting by Alex Dzigurski. Oh, how she loved that piece!

I can't think of Carmel without thinking of Mom. It's her place.

"Mom, I miss you so much I can't hardly stand it. The only source of comfort is that I know you are in the arms of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. Until I see you there with him, all my hugs and kisses. Janeen"
