We love you and miss you papa, have a wonderful heavenly birthday. It has been a year now since you left us, and we think of you every day. PS. Mama says the same.

Alan was a great man and a great friend, who lived a full work and personal life. From the meat packing plant, the carnival, and Convergys, :) to his family and friends. Alan was the kind of friend and co-worker who would stand by you when you needed someone to be there. Alan will be missed and fondly remembered for a long time to come.

Isaiah 57
1 Good people pass away;
the godly often die before their time.
But no one seems to care or wonder why.
No one seems to understand
that God is protecting them from the evil to come.
2 For those who follow godly paths
will rest in peace when they die.

While at CVG you know who people are but you do not get to know them really until you work with them. I was fortunate enough to get to work with him on Charter. His face would light up when speaking about the grand kids and all there antics. His was a wonderful supervisor. Alan was know as strict and going by the rules but fair and consistent. I appreciated his support and his sense of humor. He will be missed but not forgotten at his CVG family.

"This world is not conclusion,
A sequel stands beyond,
Invisible as music
But positive as sound."

May your eternal song begin Alan.
Music was our bond as friends.

I cherished our friendship and
work relationship so greatly.
My thoughts and Prayers are with
the entire Beard Family.

Take Care and embrace each other
a little tighter.

"It's been two weeks now, Alan, it still seems impossible you are gone. We still feel you here with us, and for that I am thankful. It's not the same without you, that's for sure."
